THE ACCESS BROADWAY® STORY

Access Broadway® established on August 14th, 1998 premiered its first season in January 1999 as the very first "All Inclusive” Broadway Experience™, Performing Arts Event, featuring competition, workshop and talent search in dance, acting and voice. Up until that date, the only events of its nature were Dance Competitions and Conventions. Company founder, Broadway veteran performer Ron DeVito expanding the dance competition market developing the idea over numerous years while performing on Broadway in shows such as Cats, 42nd Street & Starlight Express. Utilizing his experience and Broadway credentials, Ron included the Acting & Vocal Arts to the growing live talent event industry. Over the past two and a half decades Ron & The Access Broadway® Company have produced and presented countless events throughout the country which has brought this original program to students, teachers & aspiring performers. Numerous attendees have started their professional careers through this innovative program which proudly features constructive and diverse talent competitions, performing arts education and professional opportunities.
